Our Services

We provide a wide array of tests

Hematology

The sizes and important characteristics of circulating blood cells are measured. This can help detect conditions such as anemia, infection, inflammation and Leukemia.

Chemistry

Biochemical analysis of body fluids is performed. Glucose, Lipid profile, Liver Function, Kidney function and pancreatic function are examples of testing performed in this profile.

Serology

Blood is tested for the presence of specific antibodies. Examples are HIV screening, Syphilis, Tuberculosis, Hepatitis, Dengue etc.

Immunoassays

Also known as special testing profile. Tests include Thyroid function, Fertility hormones, Tumor markers which assist in diagnosing different cancers (Prostate, Ovaries, Breasts, Liver, Pancreas Colon), and cardiac markers which can tell if there is heart damage.

Urinalysis

Performed to detect and manage a wide range of disorders, such as urinary tract infections, kidney disease and diabetes. A urinalysis involves checking the appearance, concentration and content of urine.

Semen Analysis

A semen analysis is performed to find out if a problem with sperm may be causing infertility. The test may also be used to see if a vasectomy has been successful.

Parasitology

A stool ova and parasite, or O&P, test is a simple way of diagnosing parasitic infections. This test determines whether parasites and their eggs or cysts are present in stool.

Frequently Asked Questions

Fasting Tests (e.g., Lipid Profile, Glucose): Patients are typically required to fast between 8 to 12 hours before these tests. Fasting usually involves refraining from eating or drinking (except water) for a specified number of hours before the test. Fasting helps provide accurate baseline levels of certain analytes.

Non-Fasting Tests (e.g., Complete Blood Count, Urinalysis): These tests usually do not require fasting. Patients can eat and drink normally before these tests. For urinalysis, a first morning specimen is preferred but if unavailable, a random specimen will work.

Hydration: Staying hydrated is generally recommended before most tests, especially those involving blood draws.

Exercise Restrictions: Avoid intense exercise or strenuous physical activity before tests that could affect certain analytes (e.g., creatine kinase for muscle damage) or metabolic processes.

Alcohol and Caffeine: Limit alcohol consumption and caffeine intake before tests that may be affected by these substances.

Anxiety Management: If you're anxious about blood draws, let the healthcare professional know. They can help ease your concerns.

Results are available typically after 2 hours of specimen collection. Results are only available after full payment has been made. Patients may request their results in print, email, or via access to a secure website.
